MENTORSHIP
I believe wholeheartedly in the value of working with mentors. These investments have been some of the most impactful I have ever made in myself.
I feel the clients who are drawn to our containers choose to mentor with us, not only because of the experience I hold or the wisdom of the herd, but because they know I will be deep in the trenches alongside them as I am committed to doing my own personal work and know the journey of self-development never ends.
I’m not here to show you the way.
My role is to support you in finding your way.
While every horse person is on their own unique journey, there are times when we realize we need support from someone who has walked a similar path to the one we’re on.
Especially those of us who feel like we are the only ones in our world who see horses the way we do. The ones who see discomfort where others see ‘bad behaviour’. Who see coping mechanisms where others see ‘vices’. Who see shut down where others see ‘bomb proof’. Who see attempts at communication and self-expression where others see horses being ‘difficult’.
There came a point in my journey when I realized part of the reason I was walking it was so that I would be able to mentor others who would one day walk it themselves.
To be able to relate to those who are experiencing what I once lived myself. To build bridges from what is widely accepted as ‘normal’ in the horse world to a new paradigm where consent is the foundation of all horse-human relationships.
And although it took me some time to believe in that call to mentorship, I now hold it as one of the most sacred aspects of my purpose and work in this lifetime. It is work that I deeply love and am so honoured to do.
Mentorship with me goes well beyond your relationship with your horse as an owner or your client work as an equine professional.
While I of course have extensive experiences in these spaces, I also have decades of studying philosophy, spiritual and esoteric teachings, metaphysics, energy work, and my own embodied wisdom from walking my personal and spiritual evolutionary paths under my belt.
In my personal life, I have always been the go-to source of support among my friends, family and colleagues. Even strangers often end up telling me intimate details of their lives. I love that people have always felt safe coming to me when they are seeking clarity, a different perspective or a reminder of just how unique, capable and incredible they are!
So while what brings you into mentorship with me may be an issue with your horse or a challenge in your business, it’s just as likely that we’ll focus on how to work with your emotions and learning to stand in your authority as creating feed plans for your horses or setting up systems to streamline how you run your business.
This is why I can’t give you a specific list of expected outcomes from working with me. But what I can tell you are the most common responses I have received from my mentorship clients whether they are horse owners, professionals or sacred rebels:

Having said that, here are some specific topics I tend to focus on with each type of client. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but it will give you a glimpse of the most common things my 1:1 clients and I work on:
